Sofia, Bulgaria

Following our stay in Cappadocia, we took a flight back to Istanbul and began our night train to Bulgaria! It wasn’t a difficult process to buy the tickets and everyone was pretty helpful. You end up taking a train from the city center to get to the primary train station. The train station is aContinue reading “Sofia, Bulgaria”

Cappadocia, Turkey

We took a quick flight from Istanbul to Cappadocia. Flights were really the best option due to timing and costs. Rainier was dying to go here so we ended up moving some things around to make this a priority. So this city is famous for the hot air balloons that take off everyday. Unfortunately, becauseContinue reading “Cappadocia, Turkey”

Istanbul, Turkey

Istanbul was one of my favorite cities from this trip. It was so big that I wish we would have stayed longer. Although the weather wasn’t great, the people and experiences made up for it. Cairo

Let me tell you, it was completely worth it. When we really want to relax, we always go with AMEX’s Fine HotelsContinue reading “Cairo”

Giza

When flying into Cairo, one of the coolest things was seeing the Pyramids below us! It such a surreal feeling as you fly over these massive structures. We arrived in Cairo and stayed in the Giza area for the first night. We organized pick-up through our hotel as we figured it would be the easiestContinue reading “Giza”

Marrakesh

We arrived into Marrakesh from Barcelona. Depending on the airline you choose, flights can get down to $55. Crazy enough, it was actually cheaper for us to fly from Miami to Barcelona (with extended layover to explore) than to fly directly from Miami to Marrakesh. The beauty of having a no restrictions to traveling isContinue reading “Marrakesh”

Essaouira

Instead of spending the day in Marrakesh, we ended up making a day trip to a Essaouira. The day trip, which we organized through Get Your Guide, included a few stops along the way, making it a long bus ride. We ended up spending 4 hours driving there and 3.5 hours on the way back.Continue reading “Essaouira”
