Overview of Switzerland
Located in the center of Europe, Switzerland is a melting pot of cultures, languages, and a leader in immigration. With a population of 8.5 million people, 25% of the them are foreigners, you will come across amazing people. The capital of Switzerland is Bern, but Zurich has the largest population. They have 4 official languages, with German and French being the most prevalent. Switzerland is not a member of the European Union, and utilizes their own currency, Swiss Francs.
With a high life expectancy, and a love of wine, Switzerland is a great place to be. Enjoy the chocolates and watches, or explore the 7,000 lakes and tallest mountain peaks. This is one of the most expensive countries in Europe, but well worth it.
