Overview of Serbia

Serbia has a rich history that comprises inventors such as Nikola Tesla to current day superstars like Novak Djokovic. There’s a wide range of things you can experience in this country. Belgrade is well known for it’s nightlife (Splavs) while you can also experience the beautiful nature right down the road at with views from the Fort (Kalemegdan).  Outside of Belgrade there are sites to see like Đerdap Gorge, Uvac Canyon, and Golubac Fortress. The most popular time to visit is in the spring when the weather is warmer and a bit more clear.

The currency in Serbia is Serbian dinar (RSD) and the most common language is by far Serbian. There is over 7 million people in Serbia with the largest percentage being in Belgrade.
